Remarkable growth of LASEROPTIK's IBS family

Laser technology is the future. And, it can be observed worldwide that the need for developing and producing coated optics is increasing quickly. In order to cover that growth of our customers and to guarantee consistent supply, LASEROPTIK has again invested in more capacity.

We are proud to announce that four additional IBS coating machines were delivered this summer. In total this investment makes it 18 IBS coaters by now.

As all coating machines at LASEROPTIK get female first names, we also treat them like ladies. The names of the new machines are Theia, Emelia, Apollonia und Ophelia. Within short they will join their experienced sisters and we are looking forward to ramping up capacity.
